Halloweentime!

What a busy but fun Halloween weekend we had! Friday started off with Colby's Halloween party at school. I was in charge of the craft station which consisted of making mummy's out of bottles of water. They turned out really cute but were a little hard for some of the kids to do. Cameron was able to come with me and he went from station to station with Colby which both boys thought was really fun! After his Halloween party Cameron and I went back home for an hours rest and then we had to go back to the school for the costume parade. The gym was packed with parents eager to see their kids in costume. Cameron and I found a seat next to some friends. Unfortunately, I was towards the end of a row and Colby was the line leader so by the time I got my camera up and ready he was past us. Here's a picture of Cameron waiting for the parade to start.

After our fun time at school we came home and met some friends and headed to Gardner Village to check out the Witches. It was a great day and we had a ton of fun with our friends. Colby apparently saw Chris putting two fingers in the air on their pictures on the roller coasters so now he thinks it's funny to pose this way. I DO.NOT. LIKE.IT! I told Chris he is going to have to rectify the situation with Colby before we head to Disneyworld. I don't want him posing like this in all our pictures. Sure it's cute a couple of times but not in every single picture.

The boys claim the sun was in their eyes which is why they look mad.

Saturday night we went trick or treating with our neighbors, the Feeley's and the Hoenes'. Even though it was raining and FREEZING, we still had a good time. By the time we got home I couldn't feel my feet or my fingers. It was so bad I couldn't even get my fingers to work on my phone. After trick or treating we visited with the Feeley's for a while then headed to our friend's The Payne's house for their Halloween Party. The boys played, the women talked, and the men watched the Utes game-we all ate a lot of food and a good time was had by all.

This is the first year Chris and I have dressed up for Halloween and it was so much fun I think we'll do it every year. Of course it helped that Halloween was observed on a Saturday and everyone was out and about in their costumes. I'm already thinking about what we can be next year. I have to admit Chris and I look pretty darn good considering we pulled this together the night before. My neighbor and I ran to the store and ended up pulling four costumes together in one night. They went dressed as a pirate and a bubble bath. It was so cute. I wish I would have taken some pictures of their family to post. The Hoenes' were planning to dress up too but mom Hoenes was sick on the couch all day so they weren't able to partake in costumes this year but I'm sure we'll see them decked out next year. Mom Hoenes was a trooper and did go out for a little while with her kids.

Here's a couple of pictures of Cameron in his Luke Skywalker costume. Colby had just woken up from a nap and he was not into taking pictures so I don't have any of him. If you want to see him in costume look at my previous post from Disneyland. He was Anakin Skywalker and looked cute.

At least it was those two fingers. It could have been two other fingers. That's actually what I thought when I read that. Have you ever seen Steve get his picture taken?

You and Chris look really cute. How fun to dress up! I can never think of anything creative, so I'm quite impressed.
