Just A Little Bragging!

What's the use of having a blog if you can't brag on your kids once in a while?  I received an email from Colby's English teacher yesterday and I thought it was worth sharing.  See in the past when we've received emails from his teachers it's been because he can't seem to control his talking.  So receiving this email was a pleasant surprise!  We are so proud of him!

Hi There!
I want to compliment Colby on his behavior in class!  He has really shown great growth so far this year in making great choices!  He is really shining in his example during our class!  I am so proud of him and wanted to let you know he is sure deserving of a pat on the back!

The fun part was letting him read the email himself.  When he got home from school I told him I had received an email from his teacher and he immediately asked if it was good or bad.  In kind of a disappointed voice I told him I'd let him read it.  As soon as he made it through the first paragraph his face lit up!  What a great thing to come home from school to!
