eBaying Our Way to Mexico

Chris' brother found a great deal on a seven day cruise to Mexico and convinced us to go too. Once we decided to go Chris made it his goal to sell enough of our "junk" on eBay to pay for the cruise so we didn't have to use all our vacation funds or dip into our savings to go. So for the last month we have been selling things on eBay and our grand total in sales is now $1012.44! That pays for the entire cost of our trip plus some extra spending money. It's been fun to watch our auctions to see what others are willing to spend on things we haven't used in years. It has also become somewhat addicting for us both. We keep going through our basement looking for things we think we don't need anymore. I think the biggest surge is over unless we unearth some box in the basement we forgot about. I have to admit Chris did most of the work (I don't think he trusted me to do any of it) and I appreciate his effort. Now we can relax and enjoy our cruise. The countdown has begun and we will be relaxing on a beach soon enough.

Kim, the pictures of Valentines and Colby reading are really cute. I'm glad you started blogging again. I have to admit, I was pretty surprised when I looked at my blog and saw you posted something new. :)
I don't know what in the world I would ever be able to sell on ebay and actually make money, so good for you! Have fun on the cruise.
